Wyatt
Earp was born in Monmouth, Illinois, March 19, 1848, and died in Los
Angeles January 13, 1929. I can't seem to picture the Wild West hero
of the famous gunfight at the OK corral as alive in L.A. during the
Roaring '20's, but he was.
Bisbee is just 20 miles down the trail from Tombstone, incidentally. Tombstone used to be the Cochise County seat and they have a pretty old turn of the century courthouse to show for it, but not much else except name recognition.
Saints celebrating feast days today include Saint Joseph (husband of Mary; patron saint of carpenters, fathers, workers, social justice, and travelers; invoked in doubt and when house-hunting)(Saint Joseph also has a May 1 feast day), Saint John of Panaca, Saint Landoald and Companions, and Saint Alcmund.
